I started playing bass at the age of 14 and have been in love with this instrument ever since! I have been in a great number of bands over the years, playing with numerous extremely talented musicians, several of whom have gone on to play with some of the big names in the music industry. I played in an '80s band that released a couple of records, both reaching the top 60, and once shared a dressing room with Barry Manilow! Whilst my preference is to play in jazz/rock fusion bands, I thoroughly enjoy playing with The Swinging Retros as we're a great team, and I love the sounds of the '60s!
