My first performance as a singer was at the tender age of 5 - I entered a talent competition on a cruise ship and won 1st prize! Some years later, having sung in every school choir I could, I turned my musical attention to playing the clarinet, in which I was classically trained for many years. I formed a band with a friend 15 years ago; since then, I have been a member of several bands as lead and backing vocalist, performing mainly at private functions and charity events. I helped to form The Swinging Retros over a decade ago and haven't looked back since!
